Megan Fox in Maxim

As most of her fans know, Megan Fox shot to fame when she was cast as the spunky and sexy Mikaela Banes in the Transformers movie. But before that, she appeared on various television shows and a few movies. She was also a model first before she became an actress.

In July 2007, with the success of Transformers and a sudden boost in the number of her male fans, she first appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine. Fox was featured wearing various sexy outfits, one was a bronze form-fitting dress, and the other was a black revealing top.

Maxim also posted an interview article with Fox, where she talked about why she does not do drugs. She claimed she had tried drugs before, but she did not really enjoy it. She also said she was not a popular girl when she was in high school; in fact it was the opposite. But although she admitted she has had a rebellious streak since she was young, she tries to behave by staying at home and playing computer games. She insisted she does not go clubbing as most Hollywood starlets do.

In that same year, 2007, she was ranked Number 18 on the Maxim Hot 100 list. For a 21-year-old actress with only a few movies plus one hit movie under her belt, that was definitely a big deal. That just meant that Megan Fox was rising among the ranks of more popular young celebrities, like Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Biel, and Jessica Alba. In 2008 her rank on the Maxim Hot 100 list rose from Number 18 to Number 16. This just proved that more people were starting to recognize and like her.

With FHM magazine voting Megan Fox as the FHM Sexiest Woman in the World of 2008, Maxim magazine followed suit. Maxim featured Fox again, this time only with pictures and no interviews. She graced the cover of Maxim magazine in October 2008, with only a blanket covering her. Most of these pictures were recycled from previous FHM photo shoots, featuring Fox in sexy lingerie. Maxim magazine even wrote an open letter to Megan Fox in the October 2008 issue, comparing Fox with Marilyn Monroe and Angelina Jolie.

Megan Fox has been constantly winning over new fans with her smoldering looks and killer figure. With the upcoming release of the Transformers sequel, she will surely grace the cover of Maxim magazine once again.
