Megan Fox Movies
Megan Fox started her career
in modeling at age 13. After moving to Los Angeles at age 16 to try her luck in
acting, she slowly and steadily built her acting career from appearing in TV
shows and sitcoms. She got her first hit in the “Transformers” movie in 2007.
Now, she is considered one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood.
At 15, she starred in her first movie alongside Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen,
“Holiday in the Sun”. She played the role of a spoiled rich girl, Brianna Wallus.
This was a direct- to-video movie, which meant it did not get released in
cinemas. But fortunately for Fox, in 2004 she landed the role of Carla Santini
in the teenage movie “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen”. “Confessions” also
starred Lindsay Lohan and Adam Garcia. Once again, Fox played a spoiled rich
girl role. Fox also had a TV movie the same year entitled “Crimes of Fashion”,
with Fox in a supporting role.
The lucky break for Megan Fox came in 2007. After appearing on the TV shows,
“Hope & Faith”, “Ocean Ave”, “What I Like About You”, “Two and a Half Men”, and
“The Help”, she auditioned for the highly anticipated Transformers movie. The
film was based on the 1980s cartoons of the same name, and was to be directed by
Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. Fox had to do a few auditions to
impress Bay. She did impress him, eventually. She was cast as Mikaela Banes, the
love interest of Shia LeBoeuf’s character.
“Transformers” definitely brought more fame and fans to Fox. Since starring in
the hit movie, she has had constant photo shoots and interviews and also movie
offers. For 2008 she did a couple of movies. “How to Lose Friends & Alienate
People” was an independent comedy film which starred Kirsten Dunst, Jeff Bridges
and Gillian Anderson. In the drama film “Whore”, Fox was part of the supporting
cast.
Megan Fox will be seen next on the Transformers sequel, “Transformers: Revenge
of the Fallen”. She will reprise her role as the tough girl, Mikaela Banes.
Another movie of Fox for 2009 is a dark comedy written by Oscar winner script
writer Diablo Cody, “Jennifer’s Body”. This movie also stars Amanda Seyfried and
Adam Brody, with Fox leading the cast as Jennifer Check. She will play the lead
girl possessed by a demon, causing her to feed on the boys in her town. |
