Megan Fox Tattoos
Megan Fox has come a long way
from being a model at age 13, winning a model competition in South Carolina.
These days she is known for being “that hot girl” in the Transformers movie. She
is also known for her sexy attitude and tough girl appeal. With smoldering looks
and a great figure, her tattoos are also a favorite topic among fans.
Megan Fox has nine tattoos at present, including a quote referencing
Shakespeare’s King Lear, a short poem about love, a portrait of Marilyn Monroe,
a crescent moon overlapping a five-pointed star, a Brian tattoo, the Chinese
character for strength, a pink flamingo, a circular symbol resembling an
entwined snake, and a bull’s eye.
Most of Fox’s tattoos have personal meanings. The words “We will all laugh at
gilded butterflies” are etched in her right shoulder. This is a reference quote
from Act V, Scene III of King Lear. On her left ribcage, there is a short poem
going down, saying, “There once was a little girl who never knew love until a
boy broke her HEART.” According to Fox, this tattoo is a tribute to a friend who
died in a car accident.
Fox’s first tattoo is the Marilyn Monroe portrait on her right forearm.
Apparently she was a huge fan of Monroe when she was a little girl. She also has
her boyfriend’s name, actor Brian Austin Green, tattooed on her right hip. Fox
has a crescent moon and star tattoo on her right ankle. The story behind this
tattoo is that Fox’s father used to read her a storybook with a crescent moon
and a star in the back cover.
Fox also has the Chinese character for strength or the Japanese kana “ka” on the
back of her neck, a pink flamingo on her upper thigh, a bull’s eye on her lower
back, and a round symbol on her wrist.
Fox has been quoted in various interviews as saying she does not mind if people
do not like her tattoos. She believes some people are just close-minded about
tattoos. For Fox, tattoos are beautiful and she considers them art. |
